Meet your therapist, Emily Arena LMT.
I graduated from the well known Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in 2017, where I honed my skills and discovered my love for the power of a healing touch. I completed almost 700 educational and training hours, along with 100 hours of Clinical and Internship experience in many different settings. I have practiced massage therapy for 8 years. Exploring different environments of spa, injury, sports, rehabilitation, post-operative, and chiropractic care has made me a firm believer that almost anyone can benefit from hands-on body work. My goal is to have my clients leave every session feeling like a new person, like they can take on the world. I want to help you revive & thrive, no matter how you walked through the door.
I am so happy to be returning to the little town that I was lucky enough to grow up in. I didn't know how special Sturbridge was until I spent some years away. It is important to me to raise my children close to family, friends, and a tight community. As a mom, I understand the physical and emotional demands of daily life and how too often we tend to put ourselves on the back burner. It can become too easy to ignore that stiff neck after a long night of newborn cluster feeding. But in order to be our best and thrive as parents, we need to prioritize self care. So, whether you're dealing with stress, muscle tension, injury or just need "me time," I'm here to help you revive & thrive.
When I'm not working, I enjoy staying active, fishing, baking bread and spending quality time with my family. My approach to massage therapy is very casual, friendly, and tailored to you- ensuring you feel comfortable and cared for from the moment you step through my door. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve a state of relaxation and well-being!
